How to delete your account and data
You can delete your Filteronme account yourself at filteronme.com/delete-account — no need to contact support.
Enter your account email and we'll send a 6-digit confirmation code to that address. Enter the code and the deletion is scheduled. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, and only someone who can read that inbox can complete it.
Cancel your subscription first. If there's still an active subscription on the account, the deletion stops and asks you to cancel first. That's deliberate — deleting the account while your card was still being charged would remove our record of the subscription without stopping the payments. Cancel at filteronme.com/billing, or filteronme.com/cancel if you can't log in, then come back.
You have 7 days to change your mind. The confirmation email includes a link that stops the deletion. After that window it runs and can't be undone.
What gets deleted: your account, saved presets, camera settings, and the support history tied to that email address.
What we keep: payment and invoice records held by our payment processor. We're required to retain those for tax and accounting purposes, so they aren't covered by a deletion request.
Never had an account? The desktop app works without one, so there may be nothing to delete — see Do I need to create an account?. Running the flow anyway is harmless.
